We are excited to announce the newest Pro on the Sweets Kendamas team, George Marshall! George has been on the team for years, and we are so glad to finally offer him his own Pro Mod. He is constantly pushing kendama forward with unique tricks, amazing videos, and spreading kendama wherever he goes. "Becoming Pro and designing my own kendama for the company I’ve loved ever since day one is quite literally a dream come true. The overall inspiration for the kendama is simply drawn from the aesthetics that I’m into at the moment. I knew from the very beginning that I wanted to do something super colorful and funky. Almost all of the colors of the tama are pulled straight from a pair of Vans that I rocked all summer. The yellow is also an ode to the yellow Ozora, one of my all time favorite kendamas back in the day. On the ken, the six wavy lines represent the 6 years it took me to get to this point. The subtle camera and airplane engravings show my love for videography and travel which have become a huge part of my life through kendama. SWKT stands for Southwest Kendama Team, a group of friends I was introduced to kendama with and filmed, traveled, and worked with all through highschool. They are the reason I still play so I had to make sure to shout them out. The extreme playability of this new design meant it had to be brought over into other products we offer. With some tweaks we are proud to offer the BOOST to the world. The BOOST is pretty much a PRIME on steroids. The cups are slightly bigger, stalls more pronounced, and there is a balance bevel in the bottom cup to make lunars slap with ease. Unlike the original Decade shape, our BOOST kens are not made with laminated layers of wood but a solid piece of maple. BOOST tamas are also slightly larger to help improve play and match the bigger cups. :QR Code: Featured on the base cup, it helps with tracking and is also the key to access content. Use the camera on your phone to scan directly to Sweets site. Special offers, coupons, videos, etc may be released in the future with this code as your key to the content. This code is incredibly useful when showing someone kendama for the first time; all they have to do is open their camera to learn more and take that info with them!
